We are happy to announce that we are working in conjunction with the wonderful people at Lady Shotgun Games, a collection of developers whose credits include Tomb Raider, Hitman, TimeSplitters 2 and Aliens.
Having initially met Sarah van Rompaey at Launch Conference: Meet The Games Press, it quickly became clear that both Lady Shotgun Games and Greenfly Studios shared the same views and objectives: to make players happy and to enjoy the games that we make. So after bumping, repeatedly, into project manager Anna Marsh at Develop Brighton, we were delighted to be involved with their current project Buddha Finger, a quick-fire kung-fu inspired game for the iPhone and iPad.
With Buddha Finger currently in the later stages of development, we’ve been tasked with identifying and fixing any bugs within the system. Derek and Simon have designed a fantastic code-base meaning we have been able to hit the ground running and generate stable builds incredibly quickly. Looking towards the future, we are looking at getting the game working on 2nd gen iPod Touches and iPhone 3G (iOS 3.0) and optimising it to a silky smooth 60fps.
Stay tuned as Buddha Finger nears completion – its shaping up to be a compelling game!
